Alabama star and former Auburn star tangle in video game.
Alabama freshman phenom Ryan Williams and former Auburn star and Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton battled - with joysticks - on Nick Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium ahead of Saturday’s Alabama-Auburn game.
Williams, meanwhile, shared his first Iron Bowl was a Kick 6 as an Auburn fan. And, yes, he stormed the field. Newton, who thought he was going to be in the game as a quarterback for Auburn, essentially rage quit at the end of the third quarter with Williams and Alabama leading Newton’s Tigers 42-14. The former Auburn quarterback threw at least four interceptions in the matchup.
