Record Sport columnist and ex Jambo Ryan Stevenson had his say on a big week for the Gorgie club where they booked a Viaplay Cup semi final place.
"Remember where we are, how far we've come and where we've come from." That's my response to the banner Hearts fans unfurled in Ayrshire on Tuesday.
Steven Naismith said he was more pleased by the performance than the result but I'm doubtful that's really true. All that mattered on Tuesday night was the result, it was all about getting to a semi-final at Hampden and now they have a semi-final against Rangers to look forward to. Nobody will remember the details of beating Kilmarnock at Rugby Park in the pissing rain, it was always about getting a win.
I also don't believe one cup win will turn the noise down and it's because the fans have been used to watching their team take one step forward and one step back.
