Kelly Ripa has revealed her former Live co-host Ryan Seacrest messages her when his replacement Mark Consuelos does things he would never have done on the show.Ripa presented Live With Kelly And Ryanwith Seacrest from 2017 to 2023 but last year her husband Consuelos took over after the American Idol host left. Speaking on the Let's Talk Off Camera podcast, Ripa said that Consuelos had 'changed the atmosphere' on the show.
'Ryan came in and Ryan, you know, was like hiring my sibling. But I will say that when Mark came in and I was... I was a naysayer, I was like, 'This is never going to work' but you single-handedly did what I thought was not possible which was you changed the atmosphere in that place... you really did. Single-handedly.'Seacrest was on Live with Ripa for six years but in February 2023 he announced that he was leaving and that it had been a 'tough, tough decision.
