Ryan Garcia has a major fight scheduled for April 20 with Devin Haney, but the former has been raising eyebrows on social media discussing a myriad of topics–almost none of which are related to his formidable opponent.

You could suggest Garcia's posts are pushing fans away from the fight and focusing more of the attention on the fighter and the topics he's discussing. "Basically Ryan Garcia is blowing up on social media, but because it's so often in contexts not mentioning Haney one way or another, it's not helping promote the fight," Cohen told me via email."If Garcia isn't even discussing his fight with Haney in the posts generating him the most attention on social media, it's hard to see how the attention will translate to new DAZN subscriptions.

In the last two months, there have been 169,642 posts mentioning Haney or his X handle @Realdevinhaney. During the March 5 - 7 time period, when conversation peaked around Garcia, there were only 12,122 posts mentioning Haney.
