- Williamson is scheduled to make a salary of $300,000, a raise of $45,000 from the $255,000 he earned during his first season at Rutgers.
Thompson previously served as the co-founder and head coach of the D.C. Blue Devils AAU program in New Hampshire, where he coachedbefore both of them eventually made their way to Piscataway. His experience in the New England area has helped Rutgers recruit the area, most notably with former four-star recruit
Williamson, who most recently served as an assistant on Central Michigan’s staff for two seasons after previous stops in the same position at LIU-Brooklyn , Pittsburgh and UMass , has been a mainstay on the recruiting trail in the past year for Rutgers. He played a major role in signing three-star recruit Dylan Grant in the 2024 class, addingWilliamson has a strong connection with Knight. The two were on Jamie Dixon’s staff at Pittsburgh for two seasons.
