Rustenburg mayor Mpho Khunou has given the strongest indication so far that he is ready to step up and lead the ANC in North West.
When Supra says that if you touch Zuma you touch us, what does that mean? Is he sending a message to the judges? Is he sending a message to the president?He told ANC ward 41 branch members in Seraleng, Rustenburg, on Tuesday that nobody was above the law. The provincial conference of the ANC in North West is expected to be held by the end of April or early in May.The provincial executive committee, led by Mahumapelo, was disbanded in September 2018. However, the decision was overturned by the court.
He told City Press on Friday that anonymous people had called his phone and sent a threatening video message warning him not to mess with Mahumapelo – who has been among the key ANC figures mobilising support for Zuma.
