Ukraine ’s Air Force reported that Ukrainian air defense forces successfully shot down two missiles and 24 drones, with an additional 14 drone simulators neutralized.
The Kyiv City Military Administration confirmed three fatalities and three injuries, with a fourth victim's status yet to be confirmed. The identified victims are two men aged 43 and 25, and a 41-year-old woman. The office of Ukraine’s general prosecutor stated that the casualties included a security guard at a food establishment and individuals traveling in a minibus. AP journalists at the scene observed a man lying deceased among the debris, surrounded by a pool of blood. Water inundated the streets as firefighters battled the blaze resulting from the attack. Kyiv's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, reported shattered windows in the city's Shevchenkivskyi district and smoke emanating from a residential building's entrance. He also noted damage to a water supply pipeline. The Lukyanivska metro station was temporarily closed due to damage to its glass entrance but was later reopened.Across various regions of Ukraine, including Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Donetsk, drones and missiles were intercepted. In Zaporizhzhia, a Russian missile strike injured ten individuals, damaging residential buildings and private vehicles, according to local governor Ivan Fedorov. Eight people, ranging in age from 28 to 69, were hospitalized, including a 48-year-old woman in critical condition. Furthermore, industrial sites in Russia's Kaluga and Tula regions were set ablaze by Ukrainian drone attacks, according to local officials. Russia's Defense Ministry claimed 46 Ukrainian drones were destroyed across the country overnight. In Kaluga region, a drone strike ignited a fire in the town of Lyudinovo, as reported by Gov. Vladislav Shapsha on Telegram. Residents on social media indicated that the attack targeted a local oil depot. A fire was also reported in Tula region, where Gov.
