A Ukrainian drone strike on Russia targeted a military airfield and caused damage to residential properties in Krasnodar Krai.
Ukrainian drones struck the Krasnodar Krai region of southern Russia on Friday, with a military airfield seemingly the target, according to RBC-Ukraine.In a since-deleted social media post, Sergey Les, head of Krasnodar's Krymsky district wrote: 'The operational headquarters of the Krymsky district continues its work. During the night, 46 drones were neutralized over the district. There are no casualties among the civilian population.
'Krai Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said that the Krymsky and Krasnoarmeysk districts were targeted in a 'large scale drone attack' and that Russian air defense systems stopped 'several dozen UAVs,' according to the Ukrainska Pravda.The Russian Ministry of Defense said that 51 Ukrainian UAVs had been intercepted and destroyed over Russian territory, 36 over Krasnodar Krai, three over occupied Crimea, two over Belgorod Oblast and 10 over the Sea of Azov.
