The Investigative Committee, Russia's top criminal investigation agency, has ordered criminal proceedings against Graham.
The Russian Interior Ministry has issued an arrest warrant for U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham following comments on the Russia-Ukraine war.
The warrant comes just three days after the Republican senator from South Carolina met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. "It's hard to imagine a greater shame for the country than having such senators," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov responded, according to theAssociated Press.The chief of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, has officially ordered criminal proceedings against Graham, Russia's state media also reported.
