Russell Crowe enjoyed a whirlwind September, with his crime thriller 'The Get Out' topping Prime Video charts, his acclaimed Western 'The Weight' hitting theaters, and 'Unabomber' leading Netflix viewership. Two of his films, 'Noah' and a recent thriller, are now available on Paramount+.
The month of September was particularly memorable for Russell Crowe. It began with the sudden streaming success of his crime thriller film The Get Out, which briefly topped the domestic Prime Video viewership chart following its debut on the platform.

This was followed by the theatrical release of Crowe's best-reviewed movie in nearly three decades, the Western drama The Weight. One week later, Crowe played a supporting role opposite Jacob Tremblay in Netflix's psychological drama Unabomber, which promptly took the number-one spot on the streamer's viewership rankings. Those in the mood for more Crowe are in luck, with two of his movies landing on Paramount+ this month.
The first is Noah, the biblical epic that grossed $360 million worldwide against a reported budget of $160 million in 2014. The second is a more recent thriller that was released during the ongoing phase of Crowe's career in which he has been playing mostly character roles in small-scale movies. There have, of course, been a couple of outliers in the form of Kraven the Hunter and Thor: Love and Thunder.
Paramount+ and Small-Scale Crowe Films
But for the most part, Crowe has found success with films such as Nuremberg and The Pope's Exorcist.
