The Rush-Henrietta Central School District's board is now expected to put a revised budget forward after voters rejected the district's original proposed budget
by Stephannie Joseph & WHAM StaffThe Rush-Henrietta Central School District 's board held a meeting Tuesday, May 28, 2024, discussing an upcoming vote for a newly revised budget after the original plan failed to pass.
The changes to the plan would reduce the budget by $1.3 million, bringing the total down to roughly $170.2 million. Many board members say this role is necessary, as the district needs bus drivers and tries to compete with teaching salaries in other districts. They're hoping to make sure the community is well-informed about this revised budget.
