CLEVELAND, Ohio - A jury found the man accused of aggravated murder who was “inadvertently” released from Cuyahoga County Jail back in June not guilty.According to the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas docket, 22-year-old Amarion Sanders was correctly released after a jury found him not guilty of aggravated murder, murder and felonious assault.
Back on June 24 before the case went to trial, Sanders was “inadvertently released from the county jail.” “Although this a unique incident. We are going to work collectively to try and, I don’t want to say correct, but scrutinize the process and make sure this never happens again,” said O’Donnell back in June.County officials said a typographical error made in court allowed the 22-year-old’s release. Sanders was released around 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 24, and the error was not realized until the next morning.
