Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena has reacted to reports of an escalating crisis within the club after two players allegedly reported to training under the influence of alcohol. Read more here ▶️

Further reports have since implicated Andile Jali and Sipho Mbule as two players who allegedly reported for duty under the influence of alcohol.

"We are in the last three competitions, and we try very hard to win every game and every competition that we are competing in. "This is why we have the squad that we have and that is why we have the quality that we have to be able to rotate and give everybody a chance. "Everyone has done very well so far and I’m happy with the spirit in the group and the quality of the training sessions and the work that we are putting in behind the scenes.

"I’m satisfied with the work of the players and the commitment from everybody, the intensity of our work," says Mokwena.
