Sundowns were crowned champions for the sixth consecutive season, without kicking a ball over the weekend, after SuperSport United were held to a 1-1 draw by Chippa United.
"A league title is the hardest in any country to win. To play against 15 opponents both home and away and the competition lasts eight, nine months, there's no competition that is as long as the domestic league title. The former Orlando Pirates coach continued and explained that it's not easy for his players to keep such a high level of consistency, when normally, they could have been complacent and feels that they are not appreciated enough for what they have achieved.
