The Brazilians will lock horns against the Chilli Boys on Tuesday night to kick-start the second half of the DStv Premiership season and ahead of the fixture, Mokwena has hailed the Morgan Mammila’s side.
"I watched the Chippa and Richards Bay game, and it was a tough one. Chippa has got good players, so we don’t expect the game to be easy because we know everyone wants to beat us", said Mokwena. "When I was watching the Chippa game where they drew 3-3 with Richards Bay, I picked up that the players are very stubborn and have a very good mentality. They have talented players, and we will ensure that we regenerate and head to the game well prepared."
The two sides will be meeting for the second time this season after their first encounter ended in a slender 1-0 win for the Brazilians in September. Since then though, Sundowns has not lost a single Premiership match and has only conceded once in the eight games they’ve played.At the opposite corner, Chippa United go into Tuesday’s fixture at the back of a 2-0 defeat to Swallows but coach Mammila has said he has no fears on facing the free-scoring Sundowns side.
