NRL: Latrell Mitchell is once again in trouble with the judiciary after elbowing Shaun Johnson when running with the football coming out from their own end.
The Sea Eagles have been awarded a ”contentious” try after a knock on Corey Parker believes was blatant from flyer Tommy Talau was ignored by referee Todd Smith .
Talau immediately looked guilty, while his teammate Tolu Koula scooped the ball up and charged 90 metres down the field to ground the ball. “Todd Smith jogs over, and he’s calling it a try, wow. It is a four-pointer, it’s going to come down to a replay,” commentator Dan Ginnane said.“Probably smart from Todd Smith to let this play out but I think we all thought he was going to say no try... hang on, are they going to say lost backward?” Ginnane said.
