During the Kalamath Street closure between N. Speer Boulevard and W. Colfax Avenue, construction contractors “will stabilize the rail base and make repairs to asphalt,” RTD officials said. From Sept. 16 through Sept. 21, drivers traveling southbound along Champa Street toward West Colfax Avenue will be diverted to Speer Boulevard, officials said, adding that they have coordinated with city transportation officials about this plan.
