The idea that RSL sub-branches don’t have “total say” on Anzac Day is a huge mistake, according to Sky News host Paul Murray.
Queensland’s Southport RSL won’t be organising Tuesday’s commemorations after area councillor Brooke Patterson told the servicemen that complaints had been made about previous services, according to the Gold Coast Bulletin.
“I hope that this is just a blip in the way that Southport celebrates, commemorates, remembers and marks this important occasion,” Mr Murray said.
