Royal Mail is gearing up for its seasonal drive to deliver Christmas to its customers, recruiting 16,000 temporary workers to help its 110,000 posties.

Parcelforce Worldwide is also recruiting additional drivers and indoor workers. The roles offer competitive pay rates and the opportunity for longer-term work. The seasonal vacancies include over 8,000 sorting roles in England, around 1,200 roles in Scotland, 500 roles in Wales and 500 roles in Northern Ireland, based across 37 mail centres as well as the five temporary parcel sorting centres.
