Her Majesty’s coffin made its final journey from Edinburgh to London yesterday evening, and today her children and grandchildren will accompany it to Westminster Hall
The Queen’s coffin arrived in London last night after making its final journey from Edinburgh and will be moved again later today.
Today at 2:22pm, a procession will take place from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall as the King and his sons walk behind the coffin for its journey.King Charles, the new Prince of Wales, Duke of Sussex, Duke of York, Princess Royal and the Earl of Wessex will follow the coffin on foot.Anne’s son Peter Phillips and her husband Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence will also walk behind the procession, as well as the Duke of Gloucester and the Earl of Snowdon.
The procession is set to arrive at Westminster Hall at 3pm and a service lasting around 20 minutes will be led by the Archbishop of Canterbury accompanied by the Dean of Westminster.
