Four massage parlors in Roy were raided in an early morning operation in which officials served warrants tied to human trafficking and prostitution.Thursday's busts, which were conducted in coordination with the Utah Attorney General's Office and the Department of Homeland Security, came after months-long investigations into the businesses that were presumed to be involved in illicit activities.
'The massage therapists we're considering victims in this, we are not charging them with any crimes at this point unless we can say that they're part of the larger conspiracy,' explained Sgt. Josh Taylor.The investigations into the Green Foot Spa, Blue Mountain Spa, TSING Spa and Red Elements Spa were spurred by customers and local businesses.
