EasyJet flight from Manchester to Alicante met by police after passengers get rowdy on board
Spanish police were called to meet a flight from Manchester as it touched down after rowdy passengers caused havoc on board.
Easyjet told the Manchester Evening News the disruption was due to the behaviour of a group of passengers, adding that they 'do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour onboard'.The flight departed from Manchester Airport at 18:01, and touched down in Alicante just before 9:30pm. The exact nature of the incident onboard is unclear.
“EasyJet can confirm that flight EZY2015 from Manchester to Alicante on 13 April was met by police on arrival due to a group of passengers behaving disruptively onboard and as a result the return flight to Manchester was unable to operate," they said in a statement.
