HELSINKI - Hatch Entertainment, a spin-off from Angry Birds game maker Rovio, has struck a deal to offer 5G gaming on Samsung devices in South Korea, Rovio said on Friday.

Operators around the world are beginning to convert older 3G and 4G networks to faster 5G technology and games are likely to be among the first ways for consumers to experience the new faster connections. The cooperation will begin in Samsung’s home market South Korea, the world’s fourth-largest games market, where 5G networks are well underway.
