That’s clear today as the would-be automaker has tappedas a contract manufacturer. As a result, “Bollinger will source and provide all materials for Roush to assemble its all-electric vehicle platforms and chassis cabs in a fully staffed, operational, and scalable facility in Livonia, Michigan.”
There’s no word on when production will begin, but Roush will build Class 3 through Class 6 vehicles for Bollinger. Bollinger COO Bryan Chambers expanded on those comments by saying, “Roush’s knowledge base and track record in working with both startups and established OEMs was a big part of our decision.” He went on to say the partnership with Roush gives them the confidence to hit their quality and production targets., Bollinger’s commercial vehicles promise to be “durable, dependable, electric work beasts.
