Roush Performance's Ford Bronco Kit Is Subtle But Useful | Carscoops carscoops
A dizzying array of aftermarket specialists have released upgrades for the Ford Bronco since its launch but few of these brands are as reputable as Roush. The kit kicks off with five different off-road wheel designs that now come wrapped in 35-inch General Tire Grabber X3 mud-terrain tires. These wheels measure 17x.8.5 at both the front and rear and have a +25 mm offset.
Elsewhere, Roush has updated its R Series Kit with the inclusion of two Diode Dynamics SS3 Pro pillar lights. These lights are made from powder-coated aluminum and have a higher output than any other 3-inch light on the market. Various other upgrades make up the R Series Kit. This include Roush’s new air induction system that delivers a 30 per cent improvement in airflow over the factory system and includes an off-road prefilter and maintains
excellent water-fording capabilities. Elsewhere, there is also a Roush axle-back exhaust system constructed from T304 stainless steel that doesn’t just add an aggressive new note to the Bronco but also improves ground clearance and departure angle.A plethora of other accessories are offered by Roush. For example, there is a distinctive graphics package, a Roush windshield banner, American Flag graphics, a Jack Roush signature decal, and body side graphics for four-door Bronco models.
Roush’s kit is offered for all Ford Bronco models equipped with the 2.3-liter and 2.7-liter engines and costs $8,400.
