By around 7-8 tonight, most of the rain will track into Canada, leaving Western Washington drier.Highs this afternoon will be mild - about ten degrees above average in the Seattle area.Tomorrow and Sunday will feature rounds of rain.
With the parade of weather systems and steady rain on a regular basis, river flooding and landslides could develop by the middle to end of next week. In the short-term, a Flood Warning remains in effect for the Skokomish River in Mason County. Over the South Washington Coast, a High Surf Advisory is posted from tomorrow through Monday for large, breaking waves of 25 to 30 feet.
