The community of Round Rock and Central Texas are grieving the loss of two mothers after they were fatally shot at the Round Rock Juneteenth Festival this weekend.
Monday afternoon, Kevin Vicknair played with his kids in the Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, where his wife took her last breath just 48 hours ago. It was something Lyndsey Vicknair and her family looked forward to every year. But this year, the night ended in gunfire.14 people were injured and two women died.
The person, or people, responsible for this are still at large. Officials say they're looking for a 5'7 black man, that's within the age range of 19 to 20.Former FBI Agent and mass shooting expert, Katherine Schweit said, with hundreds of people in attendance at the festival, someone saw something that could lead law enforcement to an arrest.
