Middle-class mum seduced by conman claiming to be a Rothschild and fleeced for £500k leaving her on Universal Credit
A MIDDLE-class mum was left on Universal Credit after being fleeced £500,000 by her conman lover claiming to be a Rothschild.
Christine, who went on to share a son with crook Marc Hatton, had been swept off her feet in 2003 after meeting him for the first time. She went on to hand over £100,000 to fund another business course, £105,000 to put in a Swiss investment fund and £50,000 to cover a tax bill for Hatton.
