As scam numbers keep rising, Amazon says it’s going after the bad guys to keep you safe too.
New numbers are in from the Global Anti-Scam Alliance, showing that we lost more than $1 trillion globally last year. In its report, Amazon says it’s eliminated more than 40,000 phishing websites and 10,000 phone numbers impersonating Amazon. Because of that, there’s been a 15% decrease in us falling victim to fake Amazon scams.
