Ross W. Greene, Ph.D., is the originator of Collaborative and Proactive Solutions. He was a professor at Harvard Medical School and is now with Virginia Tech. His most recent book is The Kids Who Aren't Okay.
Greene served on the faculty at Harvard Medical School for over 20 years and is now an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech and in the Faculty of Science at the University of Technology Sydney.
Hishas been funded by, among others, the Stanley Research Institute, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Institutes of Mental Health, the U.S. Department of Education, and the Maine Juvenile Justice Advisory Group. Greene is the founding director of the non-profit which provides advocacy and support for behaviorally challenging kids and their parents, teachers, and other caregivers. He consults extensively with families, general and special education schools, inpatient and residential facilities, and juvenile detention systems.
