The Ross County Coroner 's Office is asking for help in identifying an infant grave dating back to 1975 at the Mount Tabor church cemetery in Chillicothe.
“The cause of death was ruled natural causes at the time in 1975; we didn’t have a whole lot of methods to do identification like we do today,” said Ratliff. Ross County coroner investigators are working to bring closure to a short-lived life. Finding her grave gives the girl an identity. They’re gearing up to use radar equipment to find the young girl and give her an identity. Ratliff says they are not seeking criminal actions, just giving a child her identity.
