A physicist tricked the world into thinking that he had discovered the first room temperature superconductor.
A team of independent scientists hired by the University of Rochester has been investigating the controversial works of a physicist for the last 10 months.
However, within six months of the publication of his sensational study, Dias was accused of data manipulation, result falsification, and plagiarism. However, traditional superconductor materials don’t show superconductivity in normal conditions. They require ultrahigh pressure and freezing temperatures to work, making them impractical for many real-world purposes. It can also make levitating trains, flying hoverboards, and many other magnet-based innovations a reality.
