RON97 and diesel down 9 sen, RON95 to cost 7 sen less

The ministry, in a statement, said the price of RON95 petrol will drop seven sen to RM1.82 per litre, from RM1.89 per litre previously while RON97 petrol and diesel will decrease nine sen, to RM2.10 per litre and RM1.87 per litre respectively.

The lower retail prices were in line with the fall in global oil prices and Covid-19 pandemic, it said. "As a measure to stabilise the situation, retail prices for petrol and diesel were reduced," the ministry said, adding that it would continue to monitor the change in the global crude oil prices and take the necessary measure.
