RON95 petrol will be priced at RM1.44 per litre tomorrow, down 20.9 percent from the RM1.82 per litre the previous week.
Prices for RON95 are currently at levels not seen since 2004, when petrol prices cost RM1.42 per litre.The new price for diesel will be RM1.75 per litre, down from RM1.87 per litre previously. "The drop in fuel prices is caused by falling crude oil prices following the global economic uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic," said the Finance Ministry in a statement today.Crude oil prices crashed recently following the Covid-19 pandemic and a production war between Saudi Arabia and Russia.
