The gas leak happened when a car crashed into a high-pressure gas line outside of a Quik Trip near 27th and Northern avenues.
GLENDALE, Ariz. — A section of 95th Avenue has been ceremonially renamed in honor of the Rolling Stones ahead of the rock band's visit to the City of Glendale.
The Rolling Stones will become the first musical act to bring three tours to State Farm Stadium when the British band performs on May 7. Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers has also issued a proclamation declaring May 7 as"Ruby Tuesday," another reference to a popular Stones song.“The Valley” is what locals call the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. It is considered the largest metropolitan area in the Southwest. Whether a city is in the “East Valley” or “West Valley” depends on where it is in relation to Phoenix.
The county contains around 63% of Arizona’s population and is 9,224 square miles. That makes the county larger than seven U.S. states .
