Former Alabama football standout Rolando McClain was arrested in Alabama over the weekend on gun and drug charges.

Officer Epifanio Dejoya asked the driver – identified as McClain – to get out of the car. Graham said McClain immediately told the officer that there was a handgun in the Mercedes.

The officer located the gun in the door pocket on the driver’s side. Dejoya located a pack of chewing tobacco inside the car, and inside that pack was a separate bag of marijuana.McClain was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana, carrying a pistol without a permit and speeding with bond set at $1,000.Mostello was charged with second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.
