Rogue Debuted At Marvel As A Young Villain Rogue first appeared in 1981's Avengers Annual #10 as Mystique and Destiny's adopted daughter and member of the terrorist group the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Rogue famously used her power-absorbing ability to permanently siphon Captain Marvel's entire power set and psyche, causing Carol Danvers' mind to live in the young Rogue for many years.
