This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available. Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT This summer, Rogue will be replacing Professor Xavier as the leader of the X-Men in a new series that sees the team relocated to New Orleans. Marvel's new era for the X-Men, dubbed "From the Ashes," will see the world's mutants divided among separate teams.
Marvel has now released more information about the new Uncanny X-Men series from writer Gail Simone and artist David Marquez, along with cover art from Marquez for the series' first issue. In a world without Professor Xavier or the iconic X-Mansion to call home, Rogue and her team of X-Men will set up shop in New Orleans. There, they will resume the X-Men's classic status as outlaw heroes.
As Rogue tries to bring the rest of the mutants back together, her team will discover a malignant new force that is hunting the world's mutants. Whatever terrible secret this fearless new power possesses could destroy what's left of the X-Men.
