Manchester City may not like the extra minutes they have to play but it helped them to keep their cool against Sheffield United
Manchester City were able to stay calm when they conceded a late equaliser to Sheffield United because of timekeeping changes this season.
However, the extra time being added on is already making a material difference to how players see the game. Despite City conceding an 85th-minute equaliser at Bramall Lane, the expectation that there would be lots of additional time - there were eight minutes despite City making no subs - allowed the Premier League champions to keep their cool where in previous years they may have been more agitated."The game has changed.
Rodri's 88th-minute winner was another game where he popped up with an important goal. It may not be quite as memorable as the Champions League final but the Spaniard has been involved in half of City's eight goals this season.
