Sir Rod Stewart said his final goodbye to his beloved big brother Bob today as he was finally laid to rest
.
On the front was a photograph of Bob wearing a Scottish Football Association jacket with several medals proudly on display. Rod went on to say his sibling was buried with a Rangers flag over his coffin as he was a die hard fan - opposite from the singer, of course, who is Celtic daft.He wrote: "I said Farewell to my Brother Bob today, with his coffin draped in a Rangers flag . We loved our game days up in Scotland together. Now he joins Brother Don, rest in peace boys.
Rod and his older sibling Bob shared a deep love for football, despite supporting opposing teams. The Do Ya Think I'm Sexy singer is a die-heard Celtic supporter and while his brother was a staunch Rangers fan, the pair never had fights over the issue.
