GAME STORY | Rockies play ugly baseball again as Phillies finish off four-game sweep
Connor Joe is the kind of player who smiles, hands out fist bumps with teammates and is relentlessly positive.
Joe’s emotion aptly summarized Colorado’s four-game sweep at the hands of the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Over the four-game set, Colorado was outscored 32-9. The last time the Rockies were swept by the Phillies in a four-game set in Philadelphia was July 23-26, 2010. But it’s hard to remember the last time the Rockies played so poorly.
The left-hander allowed three runs on three hits over six innings, including a solo home run by Alec Bohm in the fourth.
