The Rockets, according to Charania, are looking for a player under contract that could help them in 2023-24, as Porter is set to make a fully guaranteed $15.9 million this year. Porter was charged with assault and strangulation, cops said this week after the alleged incident at the four-star Millennium Hilton New York Hotel at 1 UN Plaza in Midtown.
