LAKE CHARLES, La. – The Rockets on Thursday completed their three-day training camp at McNeese State’s Legacy Center and returned home where they will resume practices on Saturday at Toyota Center.
The Legacy Center in Lake Charles, La. offered three courts for the training camp, something the Rockets do not have at home. But it also had college floors, with 12-foot lanes rather than the NBA’s 16-foot lanes. That led to the paint getting very crowded, a challenge for players trying to attack the rim.
