Rocket League is getting Star Wars cars this week, to celebrate Star Wars Day on May 4.
Four ‘Droid Packs’ are coming to celebrate Star Wars Dayis getting Star Wars content for the first time this week.
The free-to-play racing game has enjoyed a large number of crossovers in the eight years since its initial release, but none of these have featured Star Wars until now. Four separate ‘Droid Packs’ will arrive on May 4 , each containing a decal for an existing Rocket League car and other accessories.Rocket League - Star Wars Droids Gameplay TrailerEach pack is based on a different droid from the Star Wars series – R2-D2 and C-3PO from the original trilogy, BB-8 from Episodes VII-IX and K-2SO from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Over the years, Rocket League has seen a wide range of crossover content, with cars and accessories from the likes of Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, DC Super Heroes, Knight Rider, The Goonies, Karate Kid, E.T., Hot Wheels and The Fast and the Furious.
