Rock & Roll Hall of Fame loads up on music icons with 2022 inductees

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022 isn’t short on icons.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Eminem, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie and more. The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Class of 2022 isn’t short on icons.

“This diverse group of inductees each had a profound impact on the sound of youth culture and helped change the course of Rock & Roll,” said John Sykes, chairman of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. “Their music moved generations and influenced so many artists that followed.” Entertainment industry legend Harry Belafonte and folk/blues pioneer Elizabeth “Libba” Cotten will be inducted as Early Influencers. Entertainment lawyer Allen Grubman, record executive Jimmy Iovine and hip-hop record producer Sylvia Robinson will each receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
