The 78-year-old singer broke his silence after cancelling his tour due to health issues earlier this year.
Micah Nelson, Billy Talbot, and Neil Young of Crazy Horse perform during the 2024 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival at Fair Grounds Race Course on May 4, 2024 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Folks have not heard a whole lot from rock legend Neil Young since he and his band, Crazy Horse, had to cancel their “Love Earth Tour” back in June.“We are still not fully recovered, so sadly our great tour will have a big unplanned break,” he continued.
Despite the sudden end to the tour, the 78-year-old said he hopes he and Crazy Horse can return to the road again. “I’m starting to feel like I could do it again and that’s a great feeling,” he said. “Not all of Crazy Horse – this happened to a couple of us, and we’re not all the way back. Crazy Horse will be back, God willing. And we’ll play more.”
Young is slated to return to the stage on Sept. 21 as part of the Farm Aid show on Sept. 21 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
