A Rochester mother nearly killed in a violent machete attack faced her alleged attacker in a courtroom Tuesday.

"At this point, I did not know the extent of my injuries, but I did see some blood, a little blood on the floor," she said. "So, I grabbed a pillow and put in on my stomach, and told myself I had to crawl to the door or I was going to die." "He came back and said 'So you’re really doing this?' and just the look in his eye, I was like, something’s going down," she recalled."He cut me from here to here, so my intestine and my colon were out and exposed," she said. "He got me in the head from here to here, so I guess my brain was exposed. Then, he stabbed me in the back and punctured my liver."
