Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) A local political science professor explained what Project 2025 is following mentions during Tuesday's presidential debate.

Project 2025 is being called a guidebook to changing the federal government for the next conservative president. It was created by a think-tank called the"It looks to be very comprehensive," said Sarah Burns, associate professor of political science for the Rochester Institute of Technology. "Their efforts are really to change the way in which the federal government is run," added Burns. "Change the people who are running the federal government, change the policy objectives of the people who are in the federal government, and they're attempting to achieve that goal through a total overhaul of what we generally see from the bureaucrats, and what we generally see from the political appointees, in my opinion.
