Rochester, N.Y. — Police are asking for help finding a missing 1-year-old girl and her mother, who does not have legal custody of the child. Police said Eyvonne Carter, 37, did not return 1-year-old Emaya Carter following a visitation Wednesday night.
They were last seen seen at a home on Balsam Lane in Perinton, just outside the village of Fairport, according to police.No vehicle description was available. Police said there was no indication Emaya was in immediate danger.
