What to watch when the stock market opens today: Intuit lifted its financial forecast, while Farfetch shares plunged premarket after it missed sales expectations
on Roblox’s online game platform that lets players dress their digital avatars in Nike sneakers, hats or backpacks. Roblox shares were up 1.1% premarket.
U.S.-traded shares of U.K. luxury fashion company Farfetch dropped 21% premarket after it missed sales expectations for its third quarter. Williams-Sonoma slid 7.1% premarket, also a bit counterintuitive given its earnings beat after Thursday’s close. And Friday morning Telsey Advisory Group lifted its price target for the stock.
Luxury electric-vehicle maker Lucid edged down 0.6% premarket after having closed down 10% on Thursday. But fellow EV startup Rivian was shaking off the recent gloom, adding 3.7% premarket.
